Pour a small amount (about the size of a nickel or quarter depending on the size of your canine) in the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together, and then quickly work for your hands around the body, spreading a thin layer of treatment, making sure you get the belly, legs, and any areas where you have noticed any fleas or ticks activity.

Treatment should be applied typically every 3-5 days since the essential oils will lose their effectiveness over time. If insects are really bad in your area, apply every 1-2 days.

One method that works well is to put 1-2 drops directly on the flea or tick. The olive oil makes it hard for them to breathe through and typically drown them, making it much easier to pick them off your pet.

For best results, if your canine currently has fleas or ticks, we recommend using our Flea and Tick Shampoo first and then apply treatment after bathing. Then continue regular treatments as mentioned above.

Another method is to apply a small amount to a flea comb and work it around the body. This applies the treatment, stirs up and fleas or ticks, and helps the flea eggs stick to the comb for easy cleanup.
