Getting Started

We recommend a gradual 7 to 10 day transition for most pets. Start with 25% Natural Pet Pantry mixed into your pet's current food for 2 to 3 days, then shift to 50/50 for 2 to 3 days, then 75/25, and finally 100%. For sensitive stomachs or dogs coming off kibble, our gently cooked stews are often the easiest starting point. If you run into digestive upset, slow the transition down. Our nutrition consultants at either store can help tailor a plan for your pet.
Yes. All Natural Pet Pantry raw and gently cooked meals are formulated to meet or exceed the nutritional levels established by AAFCO for adult dog or adult cat maintenance. Nutrition comes from real food (muscle meat, organs, bone, and organic vegetables) rather than synthetic vitamin premixes.
Treat raw pet food the way you'd treat raw chicken or beef in your own kitchen. Thaw in the fridge on a plate or in a sealed container, wash your hands and any utensils or bowls that touch the food with hot soapy water, and wipe down counters after prep. Refrigerate any leftovers. With basic kitchen hygiene, feeding raw is no riskier than cooking raw meat for yourself.
Our recipes are formulated for adult maintenance, but many customers successfully feed puppies and seniors with a few adjustments. Puppies and kittens typically eat 2 to 3 times the adult amount by weight while growing. Seniors often benefit from the extra moisture, real protein, and natural glucosamine from bone. For pets with allergies or sensitivities, our single-protein Meaty Grinds are ideal for elimination diets since you control every ingredient. Call either store and a nutrition consultant can walk you through a plan.
Keep the food frozen until you're ready to use it. Thaw in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours before serving, depending on package size. Once thawed, it stays fresh in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Never refreeze thawed food, and store raw food below any cooked food on your fridge shelves.

Our Products

We make our food from scratch in Seattle using USDA-inspected, human-grade meats and 100% USDA certified organic vegetables. Our meats come from free-range, pasture-raised, grass-fed animals with no hormones or antibiotics. All Natural Pet Pantry meals are AAFCO compliant for adult maintenance, with no grains, fillers, rendered meats, artificial preservatives, or synthetic vitamins. Raw recipes offer up to 97% protein digestibility (versus about 82% for kibble) and 65 to 70% moisture, closer to what dogs and cats evolved eating. We've been making fresh pet food this way for over 25 years.
We make five lines of Natural Pet Pantry food: raw dog food (8 proteins), gently cooked dog food stews (5 proteins), raw cat food (5 proteins), single-protein Meaty Grinds for dogs and cats, and frozen Meaty Necks as a raw chew. We also carry a curated selection of trusted third-party brands across raw, cooked, freeze-dried, kibble, canned, treats, and supplements.
Our raw food is uncooked, preserving the maximum amount of natural enzymes and nutrients at 65 to 70% moisture. Our gently cooked stews are slow-cooked at low temperatures to retain nutrition while offering an even higher 75 to 81% moisture content and a softer texture some dogs prefer. Both use the same high-quality ingredients. Gently cooked is often the easiest starting point for dogs transitioning off kibble, pets with sensitive stomachs, and picky eaters.
Cats are obligate carnivores with virtually no biological need for carbohydrates. Our raw cat food is 100% meat, organs, and bone, supplemented with egg yolk and green lipped mussel for complete nutrition. No vegetables. The high moisture content also supports urinary tract and kidney health, which matters for cats who tend not to drink much water on their own. Cat portions are sized smaller to match feline feeding patterns.
Feeding amounts vary based on your pet's weight, age, activity level, and metabolism. As a general guideline, feed adult dogs 2 to 3% of body weight per day, and adult cats 2 to 4% of body weight per day. Puppies and kittens typically need 2 to 3 times the adult amount while growing. Active or working dogs may need more; less active or senior pets often need a bit less. Our nutrition consultants can help dial in the right amount, just call either store.
Meaty Grinds are single-protein ground raw meals for dogs and cats. People use them four main ways: as a fresh topper on existing food, as the protein foundation for building their own balanced raw meal, as targeted calcium and organ supplementation (Turkey Neck grinds for calcium, Turkey Organ Mix for vitamins and minerals), and for elimination diets to help identify food sensitivities like itchy skin, ear infections, or digestive upset. Because each grind is a single ingredient, you stay in full control of what goes into the bowl.
Yes. Our frozen poultry necks (chicken and duck) are designed to be eaten raw by dogs and cats. Raw poultry bones are soft and pliable, unlike cooked bones which can splinter and should never be fed. Necks are a great natural source of calcium, glucosamine, and chondroitin, and the chewing action helps scrape plaque and tartar off teeth. Supervise your pet the first time, match the neck size to your pet's size, and feed on a surface you can easily wipe down.
Yes. If your pet doesn't love our food, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll issue a full refund to your original payment method, no questions asked. Because our food is perishable, we don't accept physical returns.

Home Delivery

We deliver throughout the greater Seattle area, covering much of King and parts of Snohomish and Pierce counties. Your delivery day and route are determined by your ZIP code. Enter your ZIP at checkout to see whether you're in our service area and what dates are available. If you're outside our zone, please visit one of our stores or a partner retailer.
Delivery is a flat $5.95 fee per delivery, regardless of order size. There's no surge pricing, no peak fees, and no cancellation fee.
Yes, the minimum order is $100, which helps us keep deliveries efficient. There's also a maximum of 50 items per delivery.
You can place an order for any currently available delivery date shown at checkout. Most ZIP codes have several upcoming dates to choose from. Once you pick a date, you can keep editing the order right up until noon Pacific, 2 days before delivery.
All deliveries go out in our own refrigerated van, kept below 30 degrees the entire route. Your order arrives in a reusable insulated styrofoam container labeled with your name. The containers keep food frozen for up to 24 hours after drop-off, even on warm days. We don't use dry ice or gel packs.
No. We leave your insulated container at your door. The styrofoam keeps everything frozen for up to 24 hours, so you don't need to rush home. If you live in a building with secured entry or have specific access instructions, add them in the delivery notes at checkout.
We collect and reuse them on your next delivery. Just leave your previous container outside before your next delivery date and we'll pick it up. This reduces waste while keeping your food at the right temperature.
Reach out right away at (206) 673-7191 or through our contact form and we'll make it right, whether that's redelivery, a replacement, or a refund. Delivery dates and times are estimates rather than guaranteed windows, but we take missed deliveries seriously and will sort it out.
Yes. You can update your delivery address from your account dashboard. If your new ZIP is on a different route, your future delivery dates will adjust automatically. If you move outside our delivery area, you can pause or cancel your recurring orders and shop at one of our stores or partner retailers.
Not currently. Because our food is fresh and frozen, we only deliver within greater Seattle using our own refrigerated vans. If you're outside the area, you can find our products at over 25 premium pet retailers across Washington, or at our Kirkland and Burien stores.

Recurring Orders & Billing

Absolutely. When adding items to your cart, select "One-time" instead of a recurring frequency. You'll get a single delivery with no future commitments.
Pick a frequency (every 2 or 4 weeks) when adding items to your cart. After each delivery, we automatically create your next pending order based on that schedule. It shows up in your account ready for you to review or edit before the charge deadline, which is noon Pacific, 2 days before the next delivery.
Your card isn't charged at checkout. We charge 2 days before your delivery date at noon Pacific time. This gives you time to adjust, skip, or cancel right up until that deadline.
Yes. We send a cutoff warning email before your card is charged so you have a chance to review or edit your order. You'll also get a separate confirmation email once the charge goes through.
Yes, you have full control from your account dashboard. You can skip an individual delivery, edit quantities or swap products on any pending order, change your frequency between every 2 and every 4 weeks, or cancel your recurring items entirely. No phone call required and no cancellation fee.
Yes. If you have a pending recurring order, you can add extra one-time items to that same delivery date from the shop and they'll be combined into one delivery.
If a product is discontinued or temporarily unavailable, we'll automatically remove it from your recurring items and notify you so you can choose a replacement.
We accept all major credit cards. Payment is processed through a PCI-compliant third-party processor, and we never store your full credit card number, just a masked reference with the last 4 digits and card brand.
No, Washington state sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and added to your order total along with the $5.95 delivery fee.
We run occasional promotions and offer coupon codes from time to time. You can apply a coupon at checkout or from the pending order page in your account. Codes are typically single-use, non-combinable, and time-limited. Sign up for our emails or follow us to hear about new offers.
